Build, run, and follow up on a check

   Build the checklist: sections, items, answer types, schedule, target, and alert roles.

   Crews open the check from its card on the Checklists board.

3. 3

   Members mark items and tap Log Checks to save each batch; failed items need notes and can have photos.

4. 4

   Failed items raise alerts for the alert roles.

5. 5

   Alerts move from acknowledged to awaiting parts to resolved, with cost and work-order references.

6. 6

   Review compliance and export CSV or PDF reports.

Module capabilities

• Schedules: daily, every N days, weekly, monthly, quarterly, twice a year, or yearly, with open and due-by times
• Targets: one check for the department, one per apparatus, or one per member for PPE
• Answer types: check, quantity, reading with automatic pass/fail, date, text, and choice
• Seat-by-seat SCBA pack, cylinder, and facepiece checks with PSI readings and air-fill logging
• Failed-item alerts with severity, up to 10 photos, out-of-service flags, and re-notification while open
• Phone runner with camera photos, barcode scanning, and answers queued when the signal drops
• Claimed checks, supervisor review, and typed-name attestation
• Compliance rate, trend, audit list, and CSV/PDF exports

Before your department relies on it

   Start with one apparatus check and test it with a crew.

   Mark items that need a note on failure.

   Choose alert roles that will actually act on failures.

   Set open and due-by times that fit shift change.

   Decide whether completed checks need supervisor review.

   Turn on Assets first if checks should update equipment records.
