- Some parts, such as maps, the incident command board, and live video, have known limits, listed below with alternatives.
- Organizations are responsible for the accessibility of the content they publish, such as department websites and uploaded documents.
- If something doesn't work for you, tell us. We will respond within five business days.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what governs.
Station Automation Solutions LLC wants Station Clipboard to be usable by people with disabilities, including members who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or voice control. This statement covers stationclipboard.com and its Help Center, the Department Portal, the Command Portal, the Inspection Portal, our mobile and desktop apps, and the department websites and public pages that Organizations publish through the Service.
1.Our Standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our design and development standard, the same standard the U.S. Department of Justice adopted for state and local government websites under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We are working toward it across the Service; this statement does not claim that every page already meets it.
2.What We Do
- Use real headings, labels, and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate pages
- Design for keyboard use, visible focus, and touch targets large enough to tap
- Keep text contrast readable, support light and dark themes, and let pages zoom and reflow on phones
- Give images and icons text alternatives, and avoid conveying meaning by color alone
- Offer every legal document as a web page and as a downloadable PDF, and make our forms fillable on screen
- Treat reported accessibility barriers as bugs and fix them as a priority
3.Known Limitations
We know about these limits and are working on them. Where we can, we offer another way to get the same thing done.
| Area | Limitation | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Maps | Maps in the Command Portal, Inspection Portal, and clock-in areas are visual | Addresses and place names are also shown as text |
| Incident command board | Some board actions are designed around a mouse or touch screen | Tell us which action you need, and we will work with you and your Organization on an alternative |
| Meet | Live video does not have automatic captions | Meeting chat is available, and Organizations can arrange interpreters or captioning |
| Face clock-in | Requires a camera and a visible face | Members can always clock in with a PIN or a username and password |
| Uploaded content | Documents, videos, and images that Organizations upload may not be accessible | Ask your Organization for an accessible version |
| Third-party content | Embedded maps, weather, GIFs, and videos come from other services | The underlying information is usually available elsewhere on the page |
4.Content Organizations Publish
Organizations decide what goes on their department websites, public pages, courses, documents, and announcements. They are responsible for the accessibility of that content, including alternative text for images, accessible PDFs, captions for videos, and plain language, and, for public entities, for meeting the web accessibility rules that apply to them. We provide tools that support accessible publishing and will help Organizations find and fix problems in what they publish through the Service.
5.Accessibility Information for Procurement
Organizations that need accessibility information for a purchase, grant, or compliance review can ask us to answer an accessibility questionnaire or to discuss a specific workflow. Email hello@stationclipboard.com with the subject line "Accessibility."
6.Feedback and Help

Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, and assistive technology you use. We will respond within five business days and work with you, and with your Organization where needed, to get you what you need.
7.Review of This Statement
We review this statement at least once a year and when we make significant changes to the Service.
