Station Clipboard Module

Core

Core is always on and cannot be disabled. Every other module depends on it. It handles authentication, personnel, roles, permissions, audit logging, and the organizational structure your entire portal is built around.

Authentication & Authorization

Session-based login with org-scoped accounts, role-based access control (RBAC), and per-module permissions with granular action-level control.

Personnel Management

Add, disable, or remove department members. Assign multiple roles per user and manage every account from one central admin panel.

Role & Permission Management

Create fully custom roles with per-module CRUD permissions. Control exactly who can view, create, edit, or delete data anywhere in the portal.

Organization Management

Each department gets its own isolated space with configurable name, timezone, contact info, and module access managed directly by your department.

Module Management

Enable or disable optional modules from a single admin panel with dependency-aware validation, so you only activate what your department actually uses.

Activity Logging

A complete audit trail of who did what and when across the entire portal, essential for accountability in fire and EMS organizations.

Announcements

Broadcast department-wide messages instantly. Announcements integrate with Station Board and appear on member dashboards upon login.

Certification Compliance

Track every personnel certification in one place. Set expiration alerts, monitor who is current or lapsed, and export a clean compliance report for inspections and ISO reviews.

Under the Hood

Key Concepts

Every user action is gated by their assigned roles. Roles are created per department and map to specific permissions inside each module, giving fine-grained access control without complexity.

Departments are fully isolated from each other. Members only ever see their own department data, and internal access levels are separated so nothing bleeds across the organization.

Some modules require others to be active first. For example, Station Board requires Clock-In and Integrations. Core enforces these dependencies automatically to prevent configuration errors.
