Download

Station Clipboard, on every screen.

Get the desktop app for Windows or Mac, with alerts that reach you even when it's minimized, or take your department with you on iPhone.

Version 1.1.0Windows 10 & 11, 64-bitmacOS 12 or later
The Mac download is for Apple silicon (M1 and newer). Older Intel Mac? Get the Intel version.
The desktop app

Built for the station computer.

It's the same portal your department already uses, in its own window, with a few things a browser tab can't do.

Desktop notifications

New alerts pop up on screen even while the app is minimized or in the tray. Click one to jump straight to it. Critical ones flash the taskbar or bounce the Dock.

Always running

Starts with your computer and sits quietly in the tray or menu bar, so nobody misses an alert because a tab got closed.

Unread count at a glance

A badge on the taskbar or Dock icon shows how many notifications are waiting, without opening anything.

Respects Do Not Disturb

Follows your account's Do Not Disturb, and can stay quiet while you're already working in the app.

Downloads that just land

Exports, reports and documents save straight to your Downloads folder, with a pop-up to open them.

Locked to your portal

The app only ever opens Station Clipboard. Any other link opens in your normal browser.

Getting set up

Installed in about a minute.

  1. Download the installer

Click Download for Windows or Download for Mac. On Windows no admin rights are needed, because it installs just for your account.

  2. Run it

On Windows, open the file from your Downloads folder and click through setup. It adds a desktop shortcut for you. On a Mac, open the download and drag Station Clipboard into Applications.

  3. Sign in once

Use your usual Station Clipboard account. You stay signed in, and notifications start right away.

Seeing "Windows protected your PC"?That's Windows SmartScreen, which shows for newer apps. Click More info, then Run anyway.
On iPhone?Get Station Clipboard from the App Store and sign in with the same account.
Mac says it can't be opened?macOS asks about newer apps from outside the App Store. Click Done, open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
On a Chromebook? The portal works in any modern browser at go.stationclipboard.com.
