Station Clipboard Module

Integrations

A professional integrations hub that connects Station Clipboard to outside services including weather, news, and CAD alert systems. Once configured, integration data flows automatically into Station Board widgets and other modules throughout the portal.

National Weather Service (NWS)

Pull live, hyperlocal weather data by ZIP code. Once connected, NWS data becomes available as a widget source for any Station Board in your department.

Active911 Integration

Real-time CAD alert integration. New calls automatically trigger full-screen popup takeovers on any public-facing Station Board so crews never miss a dispatch.

Custom Department Integrations

Upload and configure department-specific modules or data sources that become available as features across the rest of the portal.

Integration Management

A clean dashboard to enable or disable installed integrations, configure their settings such as ZIP code and API keys, and review connection status at a glance.

Data Flow to Station Board

All integration data including weather, radar, local news, and Active911 alerts feeds directly into the Station Board widget catalog for live display on station monitors.

Simple One-Click Installs

Integrations are installed and configured through a simple guided interface. No developer access or server-side configuration required.

Under the Hood

Key Concepts

Integrations act as data sources. Once configured, their data is available to other modules, primarily Station Board widgets, making a single integration useful across the entire portal.

When a new call comes in via Active911, any Station Board set to display alerts will immediately show a full-screen overlay with call details, overriding whatever else is on screen until dismissed.

The Station Board module requires Integrations to be active in order to display live data widgets. This dependency is enforced automatically inside the Module Management settings.
