Officer elections

Elections New

Define the positions your department elects, decide who may vote and who may stand, and run nominations, voting, the count, and certification in one place. Ballots are stored with no voter, no timestamp, and no identifier, and every administrative act is recorded on a tamper-evident audit chain.

What we solve

Elections replaces scattered work with one accountable workflow.

Officer elections with sealed secret ballots, plurality, approval, or ranked-choice counting, voter receipts, and a tamper-evident audit trail.

Problem 01

Paper ballots are slow to count

Counting is automatic, including instant runoff.

Problem 02

Members doubt their vote is secret

The ballot table has no voter column, so no query can link a ballot to a member.

Problem 03

One person controls everything

Running the election, managing voters, and certifying are separate permissions.

Problem 04

Disputes after the vote

Voter receipts, a sealed ballot-box fingerprint, and a verifiable audit chain.

How it works

From setup to a record your department can trust.

Each step hands its context to the next instead of sending people back to a spreadsheet, inbox, or paper form.

Set up

Positions and requirements, disqualifiers, and a voter roll built from roles.

Nominate

Officers nominate candidates or members nominate themselves.

Vote

Members cast one sealed ballot and receive a receipt code.

Count and certify

Close voting, run the count, and certify the results.

Capabilities

What Elections includes.

The member experience, administrative controls, and accountability tools to run the workflow end to end.

Three counting methods

Plurality, approval, and single-seat ranked choice with instant runoff.

Sealed ballots

Each ballot is encrypted, and a tampered ballot stops the count instead of being skipped.

Optional tally passphrase

With a passphrase set, nobody without it can open the ballot box.

Anonymity safeguards

No voter or timestamp on ballots, hour-rounded roll times, and a minimum ballot count to publish.

One vote per member

Enforced by the database, with no recasting.

Voter receipts

Prove you took part, and optionally confirm your ballot is still in the box.

Tamper-evident audit

A hash-chained log you can re-verify, printed on the certified result.

Notifications

Voting open, closing-soon reminders to non-voters, and certified results.

Part of one portal

Elections works alongside the rest of your department.

Members keep one secure identity and one set of role permissions across every module your department turns on.

Questions

Elections FAQ

Can an administrator see how someone voted?

No. Ballots carry no voter, timestamp, or identifier. For the strongest protection, set a tally passphrase when voting opens.

Are live tallies shown during voting?

No. Turnout can be shown live; results are counted after voting closes.

Custom modules

Don’t see the workflow your department needs?

We build custom modules. Tell us what you track today, who touches it, and what a good outcome looks like — we’ll scope a module that lives inside the same portal, permissions, and member accounts.
