Key Concepts

Hierarchical Categories

Categories are organized as a tree so you can group assets at any level of specificity. Custom fields defined on a parent category are inherited by all child categories, reducing duplication in your setup.

Assignment History

Every assignment change is logged with a timestamp and the admin who made the change, giving you a complete chain of custody for every asset.

Audit Logging

Every field change, status update, and assignment on every asset is recorded in the audit log. This is essential for equipment audits, insurance claims, and grant compliance reporting.
