Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
Station Clipboard is software that fire departments, EMS agencies, and other public safety organizations ("Organizations") use to send alerts and information. These terms apply to text messages (SMS and MMS) that an Organization sends you through Station Clipboard, a service of Station Automation Solutions LLC. Text messages are not required to receive alerts, and you never have to agree to texts to get any other service.
Community Alerts is an Organization's own alert service for residents. If you subscribe to an Organization's alerts and give a mobile number, the Organization sends you text messages about the topics and areas you choose, such as emergencies, road closures, burn bans, severe weather, and community news.
The sender is the Organization named on the sign-up page and in its messages. Messages come from a phone number the Organization registered for its alerts. The Organization decides what to send and when; Station Clipboard delivers the messages for it.
Station Clipboard does not currently send text messages to department members. If that changes, these terms will apply to those messages, and we will update this page first.
You can sign up on the Organization's Community Alerts page, by texting a sign-up keyword the Organization publishes to its alert number, or by asking the Organization to add you. An Organization may add you only with your consent.
When you sign up, we record your consent: the wording you agreed to, the time, how you signed up, and, for online sign-up, your network address and browser. If the Organization requires confirmation, you will receive a message asking you to confirm before alerts begin.
Message frequency varies with the topics you choose and how often events happen. During an emergency you may receive several messages in a short time.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send and receive. Neither the Organization nor Station Clipboard charges you for alerts.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from that Organization's alerts. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPT OUT. Your carrier will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then you will receive no more texts from those alerts unless you sign up again.
You can also change what you receive, or unsubscribe from texts and email, using the link in any alert email or on the Organization's Community Alerts page. To receive texts again, sign up again on the Organization's Community Alerts page or ask the Organization to add you back.
Reply HELP to any message for help. You can also contact the Organization using the details on its Community Alerts page, or contact us at hello@stationclipboard.com or (979) 341-9333.
In an emergency, call 911. Do not reply to an alert to ask for help; replies are not monitored for emergencies.
Community Alerts is not a public warning system. It does not replace Wireless Emergency Alerts, the Emergency Alert System, IPAWS, outdoor sirens, or instructions from emergency officials. Follow official instructions first.
Messages are delivered through mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages can be delayed or not delivered because of network congestion, coverage, your device, your carrier's filtering, or other problems outside our control, and neither the Organization nor Station Clipboard guarantees delivery. Supported carriers include the major U.S. wireless carriers; service on smaller carriers may vary.
You must be the account holder or regular user of the mobile number you give, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you change or give up your number, unsubscribe it first.
Your phone number, consent record, preferences, and message history are used only to send you the alerts you chose and to keep records of your consent. Mobile phone numbers and text message opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the messages.
Our Privacy Policy describes how Station Clipboard handles information. The Organization's own privacy policy, linked from its Community Alerts page, also applies.
We may update these terms. We will update the "Last Updated" date above, and continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept it. You can always reply STOP.
