- One vote per member, enforced by the database, with no recasting
- Voter receipts that prove participation and can confirm a ballot is still in the box

- Notifications when voting opens, closing-soon reminders to non-voters, and certified results
- Separate permissions for running elections, managing voters, and certifying
Before your department relies on it

Split running, voter management, and certification across different people.
- 2
Set positions and disqualifiers before nominations open.
- 3
Check the voter roll before opening voting.
- 4
Consider a tally passphrase and store it safely; the count cannot run without it.

Open and close voting yourself; elections do not open automatically.
- 6
Plan how ties will be settled; they are not broken automatically.

Answers before you get stuck
Can an administrator see how someone voted?
No. Ballots carry no voter, timestamp, or identifier. For the strongest protection, set a tally passphrase when voting opens.
Can I change my vote?
No. A submitted ballot cannot be changed.
Are live results shown?
No. Turnout can be shown during voting; results are counted after voting closes.
