- 1
Decide on anonymity before sharing; audience and anonymity lock once anyone responds.
- 2
Test conditional questions with a draft.
- 3
Set a close date so results are final.
- 4
Remember public surveys cannot limit people to one response.
- 5
Follow up manually; surveys do not send automatic reminders.
- 6
Duplicate a survey when you need a different audience.

Answers before you get stuck
Can the public answer a survey?
Yes. Public surveys work for anyone with the link, with no account.
Are anonymous answers really anonymous?
Anonymous responses are stored with no user attached. The survey still prevents a member from answering twice.
Can I change a survey after responses arrive?
The audience and anonymity lock once anyone responds. Duplicate the survey to change them.
